Finally, our meal was complete and our husbands were so ready to eat. They devoured the chicken breast stuffed with goat cheese, spinach gratin and mushroom risotto. My kids hurt themselves on the creme brulee.
WHITE PEACH SANGRIA I made this recipe for a big Fourth of July party. It can easily be halved or quartered to fit your needs. I used the following ingredients. Everything was available (except the vodka) at my local Kroger. INGREDIENTS: 4 Bottles Flip Flop Pink Moscato (750 ml bottles) 4 Bottles Flip Flop Riesling (750 ml bottles) 1 Cup Peach Schnapps 2 Cups Vodka Juice of 2 lemons 2 pints Blueberries 6-8 White Peaches Sliced 2 Cans Peach Nectar ½ Cup Simple Syrup (if needed) DIRECTIONS: Mix wine, schnapps, vodka and lemon juice together. Add fruit. Chill (preferably overnight). Just before serving, add peach nectar. If too tart, add simple syrup. An easy and super tasty lasagna, enjoy all the taste, without the carbs! Even my picky sons loved this dish. I’ve tried multiple options for a low carb lasagna. I’ve tried zucchini noodles. Yuck! I’ve tried spaghetti squash, still wasn’t what I was looking for. Then, I discovered konjac noodles and thought this is it! Sigh, it wasn’t. After that, I saw a couple YouTube videos and looked into making some kinda cheese noodle in the oven and bake it and cut into strips. That was a no for me, too much work.
